Who will listen?

I have so much to share but I wonder if I'm wasting time by writ ting entries in a Blog. Will anyone read my stuff?

I love to travel. I don;t enjoy watching sports except maybe auto racing. I'd much rather spend the time travelling or planning where I'll travel to next.

Several years ago I was talked into a cruise. I didn't like boats and I though cruises were for rich old folks. I went along but I wasn't happy. I recall arriving at the port via taxi and seeing the ship from the a distance and thinking Wow his thing is huge.

Entering the ship and seeing a spectacular atrium was very impressive. I was actually exciting as we walked through the ship to our cabin. Arriving at the cabin I was no longer excited. I wondered ow would we spend four days in a room that was not much larger than our bathroom back home. The steward could see me shocked look. He reminded us that we spend very little time in the cabin. He promised the bed was comfortable and the shower hot and 24 hour room service is included. We stored our carry on's and went exploring.

I guess the first stop was at a bar (one of many) for the drink of the day. Drink in hand we went exploring the ship. First stop was the dining room to see where we would sit for dinner. Entering the dining room I felt like I was joining the royal family at a castle. Very fancy and very impressive. I wondered if the food was good.

Next stop was a look at the other restaurants and lounges. Morey cocktails of the days. We had a buffet lunch in two restaurants it looked so good. We stopped at the spa and was treated to a complimentary shoulder massage. On to the exercise room. It was the size of the YMCA back home. We listened to a jazz group in the lounge and realized it would be dinner in less than an hour so we scurried back to the cabin to freshen up.

More to follow on tomorrow's blog entry.
